      ເກັ່ງ, ພໍໄດ້, ເຄີຍ, ອີກດົນປານໃດ

 

ລາວ ເຕະບານ ເກັ່ງ. He is a good soccer player. Or He is good at soccer. 

 

 

ລາວ ເປັນ ນັກຮຽນ ເກັ່ງ. She is a smart student.

 

ຂ້ອຍ ຮ້ອງເພງ ເກັ່ງແຕ່ ຂ້ອຍ ຟ້ອນລຳ ບໍ່ເກັ່ງ.  I’m good at singing but I’m not good at dancing.

    

 Conversation-1 

A. ເຈົ້າ ເວົ້າ ພາສາອັງກິດ ເກັ່ງ ອີ່ຫຼີ ເຈົ້າ ຮຽນ ມາຈາກ ໃສ?

       chao vao phasa angkit kaeng ili chao hien ma chak sai

       You speak English very well. Where did you study?

B. ຂອບໃຈ ຂ້ອຍ ຮຽນ ມາຈາກ ສະຖາບັນ ພາສາຕ່າງປະເທດ.

      Thank you. I studied at the Foreign Language Institute.

A. ເຈົ້າ ຮຽນ ດົນປານໃດ?

       chao hien donpandai

       How long did you study?

B. ປີຫນຶ່ງ.                   

      pi nueng

      One year.

A. ເຈົ້າ ອ່ານ ແລະ ຂຽນ ໄດ້ ຄືກັນ ບໍ?

       chao an laek  khien dai khue kan bor

       Can you read and write also?

B. ພໍໄດ້ ແຕ່ ບໍ່ເກັ່ງ ປານໃດ.     

      phor dai tae bor kaeng pandai

      Yes, but not very well.

A. ເຈົ້າເປັນ ນາຍຄູ ດົນປານໃດ ແລ້ວ?

      chao paen nay khou don pan dai laev

      How long have you been a teacher?

B. ໄດ້ 10 ປີແລ້ວ.       

      dai sib pi laev

      10 years.

A. ເຈົ້າເຄີຍ ມາເມືອງລາວ ຈັກເທື່ອແລ້ວ?

      chao kheuy ma moeung lav chak thoeu laev

      How many times have you been to Laos?

B. ເທື່ອນີ້ ເປັນ ເທື່ອທຳອິດ.           

      thoeu ni paen thoeu tham it

     This is the first time.

A. ເຈົ້າ ຊິຢູ່ ນີ້ ອີກດົນປານໃດ?

      chao si you ni ik donpandai

      How much longer will you stay here?

B. ຂ້ອຍ ຊິຢູ່ນີ້ ອີກ ເດືອນໜຶ່ງ ແລ້ວ ຂ້ອຍຊິໄປ ພາກໃຕ້.

      khory si you ni ik doeun nueng laev khory si pai phak tai

      I will stay here for one more month, and then I will go to the south.

A. ເຈົ້າ ຊິໄປ ເຮັດວຽກ ຫຼື ໄປທ່ຽວ?

       chao si pai haed viek lue pai thiev

      Are you going there to work or travel?

B. ທັງສອງຢ່າງ ໄປເຮັດວຽກ ແລະ ໄປທ່ຽວ.

      thang sorng yang pai haed viek laek pai thiev

      Both, to work and travel.
